Why a diffuser?
A diffuser spreads essential oils finely through the room without heating them strongly. The scent is preserved and the oils are used gently. A few drops are enough, and interval operation is often better than constant nebulising.
Good to know: you do not need the most expensive device. The right dosing and regular cleaning matter more.

- Ultrasonic nebuliser: mixes oil with water into a fine mist, quiet and popular. Change the water regularly.
- Waterless nebuliser: intense scent from pure oil, dose more sparingly.
- Tealight scent lamp: cheap, but the oil is heated more strongly and used up faster. Mind the fire risk.
- Scent stone: simple and safe for small rooms, completely without electricity.
Use & care safely
- Dose sparingly: a few drops suffice, better to ventilate than overdose.
- Clean: clean nebulisers regularly so no oil residue builds up.
- Be considerate: go easy in rooms with babies, small children, asthma or pets. Cats are especially sensitive.
- Placement: place it safely, out of children’s reach, and never leave a scent lamp burning unattended.
