Hemp seed oil: the nutrient-rich food oil
Hemp seed oil is a fine food with an especially good omega ratio , and has nothing to do with CBD. We show you what it can do.
In the kitchen
No CBD
A food oil, not an active oil
Hemp seed oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of the hemp plant. It tastes finely nutty and contains vitamins, minerals and omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in a favourable ratio of about three to one. What it does not contain is CBD.
So it is a perfectly normal, high-quality food oil and does not fall under the CBD debate.

Using it right in the kitchen
- Use cold: ideal for dressings, dips, smoothies or over vegetables. Due to its delicate fatty acids, it is not suitable for frying.
- Store cool: after opening, into the fridge and use up promptly.
- Check freshness: a good hemp seed oil tastes nutty-fresh, never rancid.
- Cold-pressed and organic: that way the valuable nutrients are preserved.
Like flaxseed oil, hemp seed oil belongs to the omega-3-rich, heat-sensitive oils of the cold kitchen.
