What this is about

A light oil for dry cuticles

Cuticles and nail folds quickly become dry and cracked. A light, fast-absorbing oil keeps them supple. Jojoba oil suits well, often supplemented with a little almond oil and a drop of vitamin E.

The most practical is a small bottle with a brush or pipette.

The base recipe

  • Base: about 10 ml of jojoba oil, gladly mixed with a little almond oil.
  • Plus: a drop of vitamin E oil for extra care.
  • Scent optional: a single drop of mild essential oil, can also be left out.
  • Apply: in the evening, massage a little into the cuticle and nail fold.
  • Store: cool and dark, mix in a small amount, use up promptly.

Said honestly

Homemade nail oil is a cheap, lovely care for dry cuticles, but it is no miracle for brittle nails, whose cause often lies deeper. It is care, not treatment, and we make no healing promises. For lasting nail problems, a look to a professional pays off. We give you the facts, the decision stays with you.
