Macadamia oil: a fine oil for skin and kitchen

Rich, nutty and skin-friendly, with a fatty-acid profile close to the skin’s own. We sort it out honestly.

How to use it
What it is

Skin-like, stable, versatile

Macadamia oil is pressed from the nuts of the macadamia tree. It is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids and high in palmitoleic acid, which also occurs in human sebum, so it is considered especially skin-friendly.

In the kitchen it is relatively heat-stable and brings a fine, buttery-nutty taste.

How it is used

  • Skin care: rich for dry and mature skin, yet it absorbs pleasantly.
  • Hair: as care for dry lengths and ends.
  • Kitchen: cold-pressed over salads, or as a fine cooking oil with more heat stability than many other nut oils.
  • Storage: dark and cool, tightly closed.

Said honestly

Macadamia oil is one of the most pleasant care oils and a fine culinary oil at the same time, though the price is higher than for everyday oils. For the daily pan that is often too expensive, but for care and special dishes it pays off. We make no healing promises. If you want quality and skin tolerance, you get a lot here. We give you the facts, the decision stays with you.
